Agile Project Management: Project Management for Industry 4.0 and Data Analytics

Nature and Objective

Agile Project Management methods help deal with uncertainties in projects by enabling short-cycled adjustments in management while adhering to the overall goal. They are the type of project management preferable to Industry 4.0. Participants will have a glimpse into the origin and basic values of agility, along with the selection of applicable projects for successful implementation using agile methods.

Essentials of Agile Project Management
Understanding the differences between classic project management and Agile Project Management
Understanding the role of agile thinking in the context of manufacturing companies
Learning how to apply Agile Project Management
Implementation and case sharing

Certificate of Training

Participants who have attained at least 80% attendance of lectures will be awarded a certificate of completion issued by Hong Kong Productivity Council and INC Invention Center.

Post-training Steps

This one-day training is a good starting point for working with agile project teams and adopting the methodology in pilot projects
It is suggested that companies introduce the first agile methods coupling with a project coaching offered by HKPC and INC
After gaining six to twelve-month experience in working with agile project teams (depending on the role to play), participating members may be qualified as Certified SCRUM Masters (equivalent to traditional project managers) or Certified Product Owners (equivalent to traditional product managers)
