Hackathon is a dynamic event where participants engage in rapid, collaborative problem-solving within a limited timeframe.
At HKMU, our Hackathon emphasises fostering creativity and innovation through a structured problem-solving process based on industry-provided problem statements, rather than focusing solely on technology. With engaging pre-hackathon activities, inspired company visits, and hands-on innovation training during the main event, participants will gain valuable skills and confidence to ignite their passion for innovation and embark on their entrepreneurial journey.
HKMU Hackathon 2026 Themes:
Two HKMU industry partners – OneDegree Hong Kong and Kai Shing Management Services Ltd. have been invited to present their real operational challenges and outline problem statements within their respective industry themes, providing students the opportunity to address them.
Each student team must select a theme and develop an innovative solution to the associated problem statement.
