Chinese Medicine Development Fund (CMDF)
Objective: To promote the development of the Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine drug sectors, enhance the overall standard of the industry, nurture talents for Chinese medicine, promote Chinese medicine-related research and enhance public knowledge and understanding of Chinese medicine.
Funding Details: Chinese Medicine Development Fund comprises two programmes, namely Enterprise Support Programme and Industry Support Programme.
Enterprise Support Programme
- Chinese Medicine Personal Training Funding Scheme
- Chinese Medicine Clinic Improvement Funding Scheme
- Proprietary Chinese Medicine Quality and Manufacturing System Enhancement
- Funding Scheme
- Proprietary Chinese Medicine Registration Supporting Scheme
- Chinese Medicine Warehouse Management, Logistics and Services Improvement
- Funding Scheme
Industry Support Programme
- Chinese Medicine Industry Training Funding Scheme and Chinese Medicine Promotion Funding Scheme
- Chinese Medicine Applied Studies and Research Funding Scheme
Eligibility:
Enterprise Support Programme
- Chinese medicine practitioners, related healthcare professionals and persons engaged in the Chinese medicine industry
- Chinese medicine clinics
- Manufacturers and wholesalers of proprietary Chinese medicine, and retailers and wholesalers of Chinese herbal medicine
Industry Support Programme
- Locally registered non-profit making organisations, professional bodies, trade and academic associations and research institutions related to Chinese medicine, local universities and registered higher education institutions
