The Hong Kong SciTech Pioneers Award is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the exceptional contributions of distinguished scientists and pioneering research teams across five dynamic fields: Deep Tech, Biotechnology, ESG,Future Innovation, and Technology Transfer.
This year, we are honoured to coorganize with the Hong Kong Jiangsu Science and Technology Innovation Center,emphasizing the importance of HKSAR–Jiangsu crossregional SciTech collaboration and marking the significance in transferring Hong Kong’s technologies into Jiangsu’s industrial clusters.
Now entering its fourth edition, the Award has become a signature initiative of the Y-LOT Foundation, underscoring our enduring commitment to advancing scientific excellence and innovation. Through this initiative, our objective is to identify, support, and showcase emerging talents whose work demonstrates transformative potential. By fostering innovation in these critical areas, the Award contributes to the continued development of Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem, while nurturing future leaders who will drive progress and inspire breakthroughs for generations to come.

One Awardee will be chosen in each category:

(3) Technology Transfer Emerging Scientist
All Awardees will receive:
1. A trophy or certificate of recognition
2. Cash prize HK$12,000
3. Exclusive Exchange Tour to a leading I&T city at the Yangtze Delta region in Mainland China in November 2026 (To be confirmed)
4. Attend Mentorship Programme Lead by Industry Professionals
5. Achievement Recognition at the Grand Award Ceremony
6. Opportunities for potential funding
